As a journalist at The Advertiser and Hervey Bay Independent, I worked to a daily deadline to produce well-researched, high-quality media content for print and digital mediums, spanning breaking news, politics, health, crime, education, and popular culture.

This included building and maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders, interviewing sources, fact-checking, editing, preparing documents for publication, and working with photographers and the digital team to publish social media content. I have a strong understanding of media law and had work published in national broadsheets, including The Sydney Morning Herald, ABC and Mamamia.
